WOwo hadn’t posted in a lonng time and this time i feel my art doesn’t look completely shit but i took it from a macy’s subscription magazine so…(┳◇┳).Also this took more than 4 hrs. Oh and the white hair dude is not my drawing, it’s an anime I watched last year-ish.
I hope i can post more better quality drawings on this blog. I haven’t really touch my tablet for a while and I’m amazed how I’m still holding on. I honestly don’t remember how i even started to color this. It felt like i did all this by instinct or impulse and i don’t know if i can do this technique again, i hope i do though. I obviously want to do better than this and i don’t want to ever stay into a comfort zone but this a good start.
Last school year was hell, i had so much hw that i could never feel relaxed without thinking about the next day’s test and assignment. This school year is significantly better because i made my schedule easier on me but I’m still anxious on how well I’m going to do with my grades, people , and everything about school. I’m probably in a phase where i think the world is against me.ヽ(´□｀。)ﾉ ヽ(´□｀。)ﾉmy mom told me high school was going to be fun but it wasn’t. It was a disappointment. well it really is myself that im blaming since i have to make my own high school life fun but honestly i couldn’t adjust to the setting. I didn’t expect making new besties was this hard. Now’s she saying college will be fun. i don’t know what to believe but mom said i have one more year so i can handle it. But college apps arghhh

but my mom said it is impossible to to find that kind of true friend cause she is still finding hers, my mom is pretty cynical but kinda optimistic in a way.
I think i will occasionally write more stuff like this so feel free to unfollow/follow. Letting things out like this makes me feel a lot better.
anyways I hope this year i can do something more with this blog and not post pencil doodles on wrinkly or teared line paper.
AniChart has been long overdue for a nice update and it’s finally here :)
In this update we’ve added a number of highly requested features and improvements, along with a nice redesign.
Weekly airing calendar
The airing chart has been updated with a new weekly calendar view. This view allows you a much quicker look over the weeks schedule, and still provides external/streaming links on hover.
If you prefer your pretty pictures you can still change back to the usual chart or other views.
Custom chart urls
You can now generate a chart url that will include your personal highlights, allowing you to quickly share your perfect (and not at all elitist) tastes across the web. Also, don’t worry, this won’t overwrite other’s highlights.
Custom chart images
Following on from the urls you can now generate chart images that will also include your personal highlights! You can generate images for any charts on AniChart, even airing, and archive charts. Heres an example image from this season :)
Auto updating season chart images
We now provide image versions of our major charts that will automatically update every hour, so you can embed them in forums, blogs or anywhere else on the web, and they will always stay up to date.
For those of you who are colour blind, or just like a change of colours, you can now personally set the highlight colours in settings.
Also in settings, is the new option to hide all the shows that have been highlighted red.
User time zones
You can now set your personal time zone in settings. This effects which day shows appear on the airing chart, and the episode airing times.
Card Redesign
Last but not least we’ve updated the cards with a nice modern design, and brought more useful information to the forefront, like episode count, episode duration, source, airing date and external/streaming links.
AniList updates, Open Source & API
For those of you who don’t know, AniChart pretty much entirely runs off of AniList now, while AniChart doesn’t have a public API, AniList does and offers all of the data we use to make AniChart, and much much more. The API is free to use in non-commercial applications and only requires an AniList account to get started. You can find out more about our public API here.
Josh, our only AniChart & AniList developer has been a bit busy recently with travelling and AniChart updates. But now most of that is out of the way he’ll getting back to some important AniList work, first off will be some general house keeping with bug fixes and minor improvements. After that he’ll be working on getting AniList ready to go Open Source later this year.
We’ve been really impressed with what community developers have done with our API and now we’re really excited to see what we can do all together working on AniList. We hope to see you on GitHub later this year :)

By the way, there’s a really amazing image upscaler specifically for anime-style pictures, that not only makes the image bigger without ruining it; it can actually make them look better if it’s been compressed. Try it here.
I heard about this on Twitter and it’s really, really good. I’ll probably use it sometimes on here if an image gets compressed weirdly by Tumblr (which I’ve already tried, and it does make pictures look better).
